Finance Analyst (GenAI)

Location: Singapore; hybrid arrangement with at least 3 days in the office, as confirmed by the Hiring Manager.

What you will do

• Support finance data warehouse deployment through data testing and validation.
• Build and maintain reporting, data, and workflow automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Investigate process issues, anomalies, recurring exceptions, root causes, control gaps, and operational risks.
• Recommend corrective actions and preventive controls, then track owners, dependencies, outcomes, and measurable improvements.
• Use approved GenAI tools, including Claude, to analyze information, develop prompts and workflows, and prototype automation solutions.
• Communicate recommendations and evidence to stakeholders while coordinating decisions and escalating unresolved risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Foundational knowledge of finance or accounting operations, processes, and controls.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills with close attention to accuracy.
• Hands-on comfort using GenAI tools, including Claude, to analyze information and support decision or workflow automation.
• Ability to document business, process, and data requirements and work effectively across a global, cross-functional environment.
• Availability to work from the Singapore office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance operations, continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, controls, audit, issue management, or root-cause analysis.
• Experience with GenAI, prompt engineering, AI agents, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with Python, Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, or other analytics and automation tools.
• Exposure to data warehouses, data modelling, data pipelines, source-to-target mapping, or data quality testing.
• Experience with user acceptance testing, process mapping, project documentation, change adoption, benefit tracking, or responsible AI practices.
