Software Engineer (Go)

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid workplace with three days per week in the Sydney office for Sydney-based employees

What you will do

• Own product features end to end, from customer problem discovery through production delivery.
• Build attribution and measurement capabilities including click tracking, identity capture, install attribution, and conversion postbacks.
• Develop Engage, a lifecycle and messaging engine covering campaigns, journeys, segmentation, deliverability, and A/B testing.
• Help build an AI CMO and orchestration layer that encodes marketing expertise into AI-powered recommendations.
• Use AI coding tools and agents in the pull-request workflow.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, founders, and game studios using the platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering experience in a product-driven environment.
• Strong hands-on TypeScript experience across frontend and backend.
• Strong hands-on Golang experience is required.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and sharing engineering best practices.
• Passion for user-first product development and operational excellence.
• Interest in gaming and willingness to learn quickly.

Nice to have

• Startup or entrepreneurial experience.
• Experience with marketing, growth, attribution, customer data, or customer engagement products.
• Experience taking products from zero to one.
• Experience building and shipping AI- or LLM-powered product features.
• Experience using AI agents in day-to-day development.
