Director, Quality Operations (Healthcare)

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 annual

What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert for HEDIS measure specifications, data sources, and reporting requirements.
• Lead HEDIS audit preparation, documentation, participation, and responses.
• Improve data completeness and accuracy across systems and maintain a reliable view of member gaps in care.
• Own and optimize the third-party HEDIS engine, including data inputs, output validation, configuration, and workflows.
• Evaluate workflows, identify root causes of data quality issues, and provide training.
• Lead and develop a team of Managers and Senior Associates while partnering with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, finance, and market teams.

Requirements

• Master’s-level education or work in a healthcare field, such as MHA, MBA, or MPH.
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare quality reporting and operations, working alongside care teams.
• Demonstrated HEDIS expertise and hands-on experience with HEDIS audits.
• Experience improving data completeness and accuracy for quality performance reporting.
• Experience working with HEDIS engines.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; coding experience is a plus.
