Cardiac Specialist II

Location: Remote from Costa Rica

What you will do

• Perform interval, rate, caliper, calibration, and waveform-integrity measurements on digital and paper ECGs.
• Process cardiac safety data from continuous Holter recordings and ambulatory monitoring devices, including ABPM studies.
• Extract protocol-specific 12-lead ECG time points and prepare data for analysis and review.
• Analyze Holter recordings, identify arrhythmias and safety findings, and report clinically relevant cardiac events for cardiologist evaluation.
• Complete revisions, edit checks, investigations, quality assurance activities, UAT, and system validation tasks.
• Maintain workflow documentation and training materials while mentoring new team members and supporting timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ECG certification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Two to three years of experience processing cardiac safety data in a core laboratory, clinical research, or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, ECG interpretation, cardiac rhythms, Holter analysis, and arrhythmia identification.
• Experience working in GCP, GDPR, and data privacy-regulated environments.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work remotely from Costa Rica.
