What you will do
- Ensure patient safety through screening, preparation, monitoring, post-procedure care, and infection prevention practices.
- Produce diagnostic-quality radiographic images using approved protocols and professional standards.
- Operate imaging equipment, maintain room readiness, and identify equipment performance issues.
- Review images for diagnostic adequacy and take corrective action when needed.
- Administer contrast when applicable, including contraindication screening and patient monitoring.
- Coordinate exam flow, prioritize time-sensitive studies, and maintain accurate medical record and image archive documentation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (R) certification.
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) accreditation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must work onsite in Chicago, Illinois.
