What you will do

• Develop theoretical frameworks for Pinching Antenna Systems (PASS).
• Characterize the communication-theoretic fundamentals of PASS.
• Design spectrally efficient, low-overhead channel estimation algorithms.
• Develop sophisticated transceiver designs for PASS.
• Investigate PASS applications in non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC).
• Collaborate with the University of Essex and industrial partners to deliver the project objectives.

Requirements

• Research experience relevant to wireless communications, antennas, signal processing, or related electrical and electronic engineering fields.
• Ability to conduct theoretical and practical research on flexible-antenna systems and wireless network technologies.
• Ability to contribute to transceiver design, channel estimation, and communications research.
• Ability to work in Manchester, United Kingdom.
