Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript, Node.js and Effect.js)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications primarily with Effect-TS and Node.js.
• Develop the Jira Misc Workflow Extensions and Jira Misc Custom Fields products throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Team Leaders, Product Marketers, and Support Engineers in a cross-functional product team.
• Establish engineering practices including automated testing, code review, pair programming, and ownership of running delivered software.
• Automate cloud services and configuration management to improve scalability, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Contribute to product decisions, customer feedback loops, technical improvements, and experimentation with integrations and AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of delivering multiple scalable, high-volume cloud applications.
• Strong experience with full-stack JavaScript or TypeScript applications; Effect.js and Express.js knowledge is beneficial.
• Practical experience with modern cloud architectures and a deep understanding of web application performance, quality, and security.
• Strong computer science foundations, including algorithms, computational complexity, and object-oriented programming.
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to influence product decisions and mentor team members.
• English at B2 level or higher and availability to work remotely from Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlassian Forge applications.
• Understanding of Jira or Jira Service Management.
• Experience using AI models and tools such as Cursor.
