Senior Business Analyst - Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Hybrid role based in Coimbra or Lisbon, Portugal, with onsite and offsite work.

What you will do

• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Finance stakeholders to optimize KPI frameworks and improve visibility into delivery plans, budgets, and operational risks.
• Support engineering service procurement and subcontracting strategies, including supplier performance reviews, late-delivery mitigation, and goods-receipt issue resolution.
• Analyze workload and capacity data across national companies and programmes to guide internal, external, and extended-make resource allocation.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities from mixed data sources and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with remote international teams and manage diverse stakeholder requirements.
• Lead local initiatives in Airbus Portugal, centralize business management activities, standardize processes, and mentor the team in lean management and Six Sigma.

Requirements

• Background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, business analysis, data management, or operational tracking.
• Extensive experience in Business Performance, Engineering Support, or Financial Analysis.
• Strong ability to interpret detailed operational data, manage varied tasks, work autonomously, and identify non-obvious solutions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel data architecture skills and full mastery of Google Workspace, including ecosystem automation and coding.
• Fluent English is required.
