Regulatory Affairs Manager (Cosmetics)

Location: New York, NY; in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead regulatory reviews for cosmetic, OTC, and general product launches, including formulas, artwork, labeling, and claims substantiation.
• Own OTC product listing, establishment registration, annual renewals, and related documentation.
• Oversee domestic and international registrations, market entry activities, and ongoing product compliance.
• Support change control, reformulations, post-market monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor evolving regulations and translate requirements into practical guidance for cross-functional partners.
• Develop regulatory SOPs, maintain internal processes, provide competitive intelligence, and respond to regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• 3+ years of regulatory affairs experience in cosmetics, personal care, or consumer products.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international requirements, including FDA, MoCRA, Health Canada, EU Cosmetics Regulation, and UK Cosmetics Regulation.
• Hands-on experience with OTC drug product listing, establishment registration, and annual renewals.
• Experience supporting product development, launch readiness, lifecycle management, and change control.
• Strong organization, communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience with regulatory requirements across additional international markets.
• Experience working with regulatory consultants and contract manufacturers.
