Associate Director, Social Marketplace

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Build relationships across internal teams, clients, social partners, and senior leadership.
• Lead paid social strategy, RFPs, media plans, proposal analysis, partner negotiations, and trend-focused points of view.
• Oversee campaign buying, targeting, optimization, measurement, pacing, trafficking, site tagging, and insertion orders.
• Manage campaign reporting, data analysis, learning agendas, testing methodologies, and optimization recommendations.
• Manage and develop junior team members through coaching, performance reviews, career planning, and delegation.
• Present recommendations, guide cross-functional initiatives, and improve team processes and workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of paid social media experience.
• Experience buying ads on Facebook and Instagram; additional platform experience is preferred.
• Understanding of marketing principles, analytics, advanced targeting and retargeting, and social media investment management.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
• Experience owning social strategy across partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Leadership and supervisory experience, with strong communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
