System Administrator (OpenShift & Kubernetes)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office. Parents of a child up to 4 years old may work 2 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Install, configure, administer, patch, upgrade, monitor, and secure OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters throughout their lifecycle.
• Support containerized applications through onboarding, deployment, configuration, scaling, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation for platform and application deployments.
• Administer container registries, storage, logging and monitoring, Kafka/Strimzi, and OpenTelemetry for Splunk.
• Manage access, certificates, secrets, networking, backups, recovery procedures, and configuration in line with security and compliance requirements.
• Investigate incidents, coordinate high-severity issue resolution, maintain technical documentation, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Hands-on production experience administering Red Hat OpenShift, including installation, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes workloads, networking, storage, security, and role-based access control.
• Experience supporting containerized applications with Docker or other OCI-compatible tools.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting or automation.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Nexus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, documentation, and incident-management skills, with willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes platforms.
• Computer Science background and strong interest in highly technical systems.
