Quality Control Inspector (Medical Devices)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite role with up to 10% travel.

What you will do

• Perform complex inspections on precision components and medical devices.
• Interpret advanced GD&T, including position, profile, and datums.
• Set up and operate CMM systems, Keyence equipment, air gages, and profilometers.
• Lead and review First Article Inspections.
• Perform root cause analysis on nonconforming parts and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering on inspection methods and fixtures while mentoring junior inspectors.

Requirements

• High school diploma; technical training is preferred.
• 5–8+ years of inspection experience.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and experience operating CMM equipment.
• Experience in medical devices or another regulated industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle or Agile ERP systems, CAPA, and quality systems is preferred.
• Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
