TL;DR
Junior DevOps Engineer (Open Sovereign Cloud): Designing and implementing Kubernetes-based platform services and sovereignty controls for cloud solutions serving healthcare, security, and public-sector clients with an accent on encryption, identity management, and platform automation. Focus on building CI/CD pipelines, automating configuration and deployments, and improving the reliability and efficiency of software delivery.
Location: Remote from Slovakia only; office address in Košice, Slovakia. Remote work is restricted to Slovakia due to European taxation regulation.
Base salary: from €1,650 gross per month; final salary is negotiable and depends on seniority and previous experience.

What you will do
- Design and implement Kubernetes-based Platform as a Service capabilities for the Open Sovereign Cloud.
- Build sovereignty controls and measures covering encryption, identity management, security, and control functions.
- Own the lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, releases, testing, and deployments.
- Automate and optimize development, build, release, and deployment workflows using Git and CI/CD tools.
- Support platform operations, application maintenance, performance testing, resource planning, and security improvements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Operations, customers, and other stakeholders in Agile/Scrum processes.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in the relevant area.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container-based technologies.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, or Helm.
- Knowledge of CI/CD in Kubernetes environments, repository management, Git automation, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Linux, monitoring, and visualization tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Instana.
- English at B2 level and availability to work remotely from Slovakia.
