Data Product Owner (Tech4Engineering)

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; candidates must already be located in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work there. Relocation from another country is not considered.

Salary: €5,994–€8,563 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Define the vision, roadmap, priorities, and backlog for IT4IT data products.
• Lead product direction across two DevOps squads with onshore and offshore colleagues.
• Turn fragmented engineering data into discoverable, reusable, traceable, and auditable products.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, architects, report owners, risk, security, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Enable use cases including DORA and OCiR reporting, Nexa, Engineering Insights, and the Enterprise Repository.
• Use consumer feedback and data to measure value and improve product adoption.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Product Owner, Project Lead, or in a comparable role.
• Strong product thinking, stakeholder management, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Experience working with DevOps squads and translating user needs into actionable backlogs.
• Ability to balance consumer value, data quality, risk, compliance, and delivery feasibility.
• Experience with or strong interest in data products, data management, and engineering platforms.
• Experience with IT4IT data, data governance, data quality, data lifecycle management, cloud data platforms, APIs, data modelling, analytics, or reporting environments is valuable.
