Business Consultant & Application Manager - Finance and People Systems

Location: Hybrid role based in Mülheim-Kärlich, Germany

What you will do

• Lead software implementation and digitalization projects from requirements gathering through go-live and ongoing support.
• Analyze and optimize Finance and People & Organization processes with global stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable application solutions, focusing on IFS Cloud ERP and related systems.
• Manage integrations between internal systems, external partners, and software vendors.
• Manage incidents, changes, continuous improvements, training, and system documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in ERP consulting, application management, business applications, or IT project management.
• Hands-on ERP experience, ideally with IFS Cloud; SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics experience is also relevant.
• Experience with Finance, Payroll, Time & Attendance, or HR/People & Organization processes.
• Strong process analysis, process optimization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical system solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Business-fluent English required; German is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile ways of working.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field.
