Senior / Principal Engineer Manufacturing Systems Engineering (RTD Engineer)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain real-time dispatching rules and automation workflows for fab manufacturing systems.
• Integrate workflows with Automated Material Handling Systems, mobile robots, and other computer-integrated manufacturing systems.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Planning, Module Engineering, Yield Enhancement, Process Integration, and CIM/IT teams.
• Improve production models and rules to support fab quality, cycle time, throughput, and equipment utilization goals.
• Install, patch, upgrade, integrate, support, troubleshoot, and recover engineering applications to maintain high availability.
• Administer and tune applications, including backups, restoration, health monitoring, alerting, reporting, trending, and collaboration with database and systems administrators.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial or Operations Research Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, .NET, ASP, ASP.NET, VBA, and SQL.
• Experience with server installation and technologies including Apache, Tomcat, RDBMS such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, Unix, and Linux.
• Ability to work cross-functionally on manufacturing systems improvement, maintenance, recovery, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of web service standards, service-oriented architecture concepts, and manufacturing execution system data structures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Applied Materials Advanced Productivity Family real-time dispatching and Activity Manager for Automation.
• Knowledge of PROMIS, SiView, MCS, SPC, FDC, APC, EIM, or CMMS applications used in semiconductor manufacturing.
