Regulatory Compliance Assurance Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Plan and execute risk-based compliance monitoring reviews across key business functions.
• Identify, document, and report compliance weaknesses, control deficiencies, and improvement areas.
• Track remediation actions, support root cause and thematic reviews, and monitor timely closure of findings.
• Maintain audit-ready records of monitoring activities, testing results, and management responses.
• Develop compliance monitoring methodologies, testing scripts, reporting tools, and internal compliance reports.
• Coordinate regulatory deliverables, including periodic returns, questionnaires, and ad hoc submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in regulatory compliance or risk, preferably in fintech, financial institutions, or payment services.
• Strong understanding of European regulatory frameworks, including PSD2, AMLD, MiCA, and related guidance.
• Excellent organizational, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English is required. Spanish or other languages are a plus.
