Operations Supervisor, Production (Manufacturing): Supervising final quality assurance and pending operations in a hard disk drive media component manufacturing environment with an accent on production output, quality control, and team leadership. Focus on leading root cause analysis and CAPA, enforcing process discipline and cleanroom compliance, and coordinating manufacturing engineering improvements.
Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite production floor

What you will do
- Supervise daily Final Quality Assurance & Pending operations across shifts in an HDD media component manufacturing environment.
- Lead Senior Leaders, Leaders, Technicians, Coordinators, and Operators while coordinating manpower, schedules, shift handovers, and team briefings.
- Monitor production, quality output, shipment objectives, throughput, and parts transaction targets; escalate issues promptly.
- Lead PI counts, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions for quality non-conformances and escapes.
- Enforce SOPs, work instructions, process control plans, ESD, safety, cleanroom, and audit-readiness requirements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Process teams on technical issue resolution and process improvements; prepare daily performance reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production, technical training, or learning and development within manufacturing.
- At least 2 years of experience leading production or quality teams of Technicians, Operators, and Leaders.
- Working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis, CAPA, and production floor control systems.
- Working knowledge of MES and ERP systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work onsite in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, in a production environment.
