Clinical Research Coordinator (Ophthalmology)

What you will do

• Coordinate and conduct participant visits for ophthalmology clinical trials according to study protocols.
• Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection and processing, and phlebotomy as applicable.
• Obtain and document informed consent, educate participants, and support a positive patient experience.
• Monitor participant safety, report adverse events, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Complete source documentation and EDC data entry, resolve queries, and maintain data integrity.
• Manage investigational product accountability and support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1–3+ years of clinical research experience or current LPN licensure.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, ICH/GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EDC, and CTMS applications.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, patient-facing communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality.
