Structural / Graphic Design Co-Op (Spring 2027) (Packaging)

Location: On-site in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

hirify.global provides corrugated and plastic packaging products, displays, and supply chain solutions through Menasha Packaging and ORBIS Corporation.

What you will do

• Assist the Structural and Graphic Design teams with structural packaging and point-of-purchase display projects.
• Operate a Kongsberg cutting table to create corrugated display component samples.
• Mount printed sheets, assemble display mock-ups, and build POP display samples.
• Photograph displays and prepare presentations using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Create display assembly instructions and organize digital photographs in Adobe Illustrator.
• Create or modify 3D renderings in Cinema 4D and design display components and specification packages in Artios CAD.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge of 3D rendering software; Cinema 4D is preferred.
• Dependable, self-starting, detail-oriented, and willing to support the Design staff with additional tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Students must be enrolled in post-secondary education during employment and available for the full January–August 2027 co-op period.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Artios CAD and CAPE software.
