Detection & Response Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Annual base salary: $117,673.33–$164,675.00

What you will do

• Coordinate cybersecurity incident response across IT and OT environments and guide activities across teams.
• Assess and prioritize threats, escalate critical incidents, and drive timely resolution.
• Document investigations, root causes, containment actions, remediation recommendations, and after-action reviews.
• Evaluate cyber threat intelligence and emerging risks affecting the company’s technology and vendor stack.
• Create intelligence bulletins, vulnerability analyses, executive reports, and recommendations for preventative controls.
• Help build and mature CTI capabilities, processes, and platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent cybersecurity experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in security operations or equivalent roles.
• Hands-on experience in incident response and/or threat intelligence analysis.
• Strong knowledge of attacker methodologies, tools, techniques, emerging threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of incident response, security analysis, CTI, and frameworks such as NIST CSF and NIST SP 800-61.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced SANS/GIAC, CISSP, CASP, or vendor-specific certifications and training.
