Senior Gameplay Engineer - Game Modes (Unreal Engine)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base pay range: $160,000–$240,000 USD per year for the Seattle market; pay varies by geographic location.

hirify.global is developing an unannounced comedic game project and a new franchise for PlayStation.

What you will do

• Build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems, workflows, and tools in C++ using Unreal Engine 5.
• Develop game mode systems for the project from pre-production through release and ongoing development.
• Provide technical guidance on building code and content that work with the simulation and networking model.
• Collaborate with content creators and the engine team to define and develop reusable building blocks for game creation.
• Work with designers, artists, and engineers across systems-focused disciplines.

Requirements

• Professional ability to write, debug, and maintain C++ code.
• Experience developing with Unreal Engine.
• Experience building systems, components, and tools for designers and artists.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and help them use technology effectively.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.
