DC Consultant (Retirement Plans)

Location: Remote - United States

Annual salary: $55,000–$70,000, plus potential compensation incentives

What you will do

• Manage a significant book of high-profile and complex retirement plan clients.
• Process rollovers, distributions, loans, hardship withdrawals, and other complex plan transactions.
• Verify transaction data and documentation to reduce risk and support regulatory compliance.
• Resolve escalated participant and client inquiries, complaints, and service issues.
• Prepare compliance, financial, and regulatory reports and coordinate complex retirement plan projects.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and stay current on retirement plan trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of employee benefits or defined contribution retirement/recordkeeping experience.
• Experience with Schwab Retirement Technologies or a similar recordkeeping system.
• Ability to read and interpret plan documents and understand defined contribution compliance, including testing and Form 5500 filings.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong client relationship management ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
