Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: US Remote

hirify.global builds open-source and commercial products for network automation, network observability, and network infrastructure management, including NetBox Cloud, a managed SaaS platform.

What you will do

• Own and evolve AWS infrastructure, including multi-tenant EKS clusters, VPCs, IAM, RDS, and supporting services.
• Lead infrastructure projects from design through delivery, defining milestones and coordinating work across the engineering team.
• Partner with Product teams to deliver reliable customer launches at scale.
• Improve deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, focusing on reliability, speed, AI enablement, and developer self-service.
• Set and maintain SLOs, reduce operational toil through automation, and address technical debt before it creates reliability or security risks.
• Participate in on-call rotation, lead incident response and postmortems, contribute to SOC 2 controls, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience at a B2B SaaS company.
• Strong AWS experience with EKS/Kubernetes, VPC, IAM, RDS, and cost management.
• Deep infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and Helm, plus strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and shell scripting, with experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across a team.
• Experience with production security and compliance, including SOC 2 and IAM governance, as well as observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude in daily engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with the NetBox ecosystem or network automation.
• Open-source contributions.
