Senior ML Engineer (AI & GenAI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy Generative AI applications on Amazon Bedrock, including retrieval-augmented generation, document intelligence, summarization, classification, and assistant solutions.
• Architect agentic and multi-agent systems using Bedrock, Step Functions, Lambda, and related AWS services.
• Build retrieval, evaluation, observability, guardrail, prompt-injection defense, PII-handling, and responsible AI capabilities.
• Own the SageMaker lifecycle, including feature engineering, model training and tuning, deployment, MLOps, retraining, drift detection, and CI/CD.
• Build AI data foundations and secure, scalable, multi-tenant AWS architectures using services such as S3, Glue, Spark, Redshift, OpenSearch, VPC, EKS, ECS, and Lambda.
• Lead technical discovery, requirements sessions, architecture discussions, client presentations, code reviews, reusable accelerators, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or AI engineering, including at least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience.
• At least 1 year of production-grade Generative AI or LLM experience, including a production system or client-accepted proof of concept.
• Experience working directly with external clients or business stakeholders and independently leading technical sessions.
• Ability to work effectively across significant time-zone differences with strong self-direction and ownership.
• Excellent written and spoken English, including architecture documentation and presentations to senior audiences.
