Customer Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Act as the primary internal and external contact for customer quality communications.
• Investigate, verify, and resolve product- and system-level quality issues with customers.
• Coordinate root cause analysis, corrective actions, customer updates, and quality documentation.
• Manage quality-related product returns and support customer audits and audit-finding resolution.
• Improve customer quality scorecards, satisfaction, and quality performance through continuous improvement.
• Travel occasionally to customer locations and company sites as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, materials science, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related function, including at least 3 years in Customer Quality Engineering or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong experience with root cause analysis, failure investigation, and corrective action for complex electronic, electrical, or mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, manufacturing engineering techniques, FMEA, Control Plans, Pareto analysis, control charts, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken; willingness to travel and work effectively with multinational, cross-functional teams.
