Intern, Oncology Biostatistics

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; full-time summer internship from June 7, 2027 to August 20, 2027. The role follows a 70% in-office work model. Due to U.S. export control requirements, only U.S. persons are eligible.

Salary: $20.00–$60.00 per hour-equivalent rate; additional discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity may be available subject to eligibility.

What you will do

• Work with a senior-level statistician on research projects related to clinical trials and statistical data analytics.
• Generate and validate project data analyses.
• Implement statistical simulations using customized code, statistical software, or add-on packages.
• Present research findings at the end of the internship.
• Potentially contribute to a peer-reviewed publication based on the project results.

Requirements

• Must be available for the entire internship period from June 7 through August 20, 2027.
• Must be a U.S. person, including a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate program such as a Master's or PhD, or hold a PhD or equivalent degree.
• At least 12 completed credit hours in a related major.
• Major in statistics, biostatistics, data science, or another related quantitative science.
• Proficiency in R, SAS, or other statistical software, with strong written and oral English communication skills.
