System/Business Analyst (Islamic Banking)

Location: Hybrid role in Tbilisi, Georgia, at 11 Apakidze Street

What you will do

• Analyze Islamic banking process maps and supporting documentation.
• Conduct workshops and interviews with business, product, operations, IT, architecture, development, and testing stakeholders.
• Clarify business rules, product logic, process flows, roles, exceptions, dependencies, and integration requirements.
• Develop functional and system requirements, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Islamic banking products.
• Define data requirements, validations, calculations, statuses, workflows, and exception scenarios, including AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
• Support requirements validation, formal sign-off, implementation, and testing by clarifying approved requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or System Analyst in banking.
• Strong practical understanding of banking products, processes, and operations.
• Hands-on project experience with Colvir and Way4.
• Experience preparing detailed functional and system requirements and translating complex process maps into implementation-ready specifications.
• Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and interface requirements.
• Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with Islamic banking or Islamic finance products.
• Knowledge of Sharia-compliant banking principles and product structures.
• Experience with card processing, core banking, payments, financing, deposits, UAT, or requirements traceability.
• Azure, Oracle, Microsoft, UiPath, AWS, or Anthropic certifications.
