Global Logistics Industrial Engineer (AI/Trade Compliance)

Location: Wroclaw, Poland. Hybrid working model with at least four days per week in the office; travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel.

What you will do

• Lead analytics and continuous improvement initiatives for customs broker management, filing performance, productivity, and operational risk visibility.
• Design, validate, and implement standardized customs filing and broker management processes.
• Develop broker performance frameworks with scorecards, KPIs, dashboards, service-level monitoring, exception management, and business reviews.
• Integrate broker, customs, transportation, and operational data into control tower and enterprise visibility platforms with IT, data, trade compliance, logistics, and external broker stakeholders.
• Build automated reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Python, or related technologies.
• Analyze workflows, cycle times, cost drivers, service issues, and exception trends, then track value realization and communicate improvement progress to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering, Business, International Trade, Operations, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in logistics, trade compliance, customs brokerage, supply chain, industrial engineering, data analytics, process improvement, or related fields.
• Hands-on proficiency with data analysis, automation, modeling, and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Alteryx, or Tableau.
• Experience with operational data, performance reporting, dashboards, process improvement, or productivity initiatives.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to translate technical data and operational risks into executive-level recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners on regional or global projects.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot in logistics or supply chain environments.
• Master’s degree or certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, APICS, CSCP, CLTD, analytics, customs brokerage, or supply chain certifications.
• Experience with customs brokerage operations, import/export processes, broker contract governance, control towers, predictive analytics, or workflow optimization.
