TL;DR
Analyst (Strategy & Commercial) (Data Analysis/Revenue Strategy): Building data-driven recommendations and financial and operational models for Bayut and dubizzle marketplaces with an accent on customer value, retention, pricing, and revenue growth. Focus on cleaning complex datasets, testing business logic, quantifying commercial impact, and defending strategic insights with commercial and sales stakeholders.

What you will do
- Own strategic workstreams from ambiguous business questions through actionable, revenue-driving recommendations.
- Extract and clean complex datasets, build financial and operational models, test business logic, and quantify impact.
- Combine quantitative analysis, market research, and conversations with frontline teams to identify revenue opportunities.
- Analyse pricing, product packaging, customer acquisition, retention, churn, and sales performance.
- Present data-backed perspectives to leadership and defend assumptions, logic, and results.
- Partner with commercial leaders, pricing specialists, Revenue Operations, and sales teams to execute recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, economics, or engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, imperfect datasets; SQL and Tableau, Power BI, or Looker are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage complex priorities, communicate clearly with different seniority levels, and deliver accurate outputs.
- Experience in classifieds, e-commerce, or digital marketplaces is beneficial.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree or certification in analytics or revenue management.
- Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
