TL;DR
Manager, Strategy and Performance (E-commerce): Analyzing talabat’s business performance, developing localized grocery and retail strategies, and leading budgeting, market expansion, and special projects with an accent on data-driven insights, P&L management, and profitability improvement. Focus on conducting market deep dives, building financial models, translating complex data into actionable recommendations, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

What you will do
- Translate group-level goals into localized grocery and retail strategies across multiple markets.
- Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, including revenue, cost, market share, and profitability targets.
- Analyze business performance data, identify trends and anomalies, and prepare actionable reports for senior management.
- Conduct country-specific market analyses to identify growth, turnaround, and profitability opportunities.
- Evaluate market expansion, new business opportunities, and service line extensions such as mart.
- Lead special projects, develop business cases, and ensure budgets remain aligned with P&L targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA is an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in food delivery, e-commerce, or management consulting.
- Strong finance expertise, including P&L analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and business impact analysis.
- Experience with BigQuery, SQL, Looker, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Slides, or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in food tech or related sectors.
