AI Platform Engineer

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model with regular in-person collaboration in dedicated offices, including vehicle workshops and labs.

hirify.global is building an AI platform for autonomous driving, using embodied intelligence and scalable deployment to help vehicles learn from real-world experience.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure for model access, agent runtimes, and observability.
• Develop a governed access layer for language models with routing, authentication, cost controls, and auditability.
• Build secure infrastructure and reusable tooling for running agentic workflows in production.
• Implement observability for platform usage, cost, reliability, and performance.
• Partner with security, IT, and engineering teams while supporting platform adoption through troubleshooting and documentation.
• Take projects from problem definition and technical design through deployment and ongoing operation.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience building APIs, services, or developer tooling.
• Experience building or operating platforms and infrastructure used by engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and related technologies such as model gateways, agent frameworks, MCP, or RAG.
• Knowledge of production observability, including metrics, tracing, and logging.
• Security-conscious approach to authentication, authorization, governance, and auditability, with clear communication and ownership in an ambiguous environment.
