What you will do

• Build next-generation distributed data storage and processing systems.
• Improve relational query performance beyond specialized SQL query engines.
• Develop programming abstractions that support workloads from ETL to data science.
• Work toward a multi-year technical vision through incremental deliverables.
• Deliver customer value and impact through production software.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, or C++.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their real-world applications.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, and big data systems.
• Experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop.
