A2R DS Manager

What you will do

• Lead daily accounting operations for Global Services Finance and the Account to Report process.
• Manage timely financial period closing in line with service-level commitments, compliance, internal audit, and SOX requirements.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals, including transaction accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead an accounting team of approximately 15 or more associates and develop team expertise, succession plans, and performance management.
• Support auditors and legal authorities, maintain internal controls, and manage, mitigate, and escalate risks.
• Drive continuous improvement, process transformation, stakeholder alignment, and operational change across regions and functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• At least 7 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or first-line leadership role within a shared service or BPO organization.
• Experience leading large teams of approximately 15 or more people and working in a global Account to Report function.
• Experience participating in multiple work migrations and continuous improvement or organizational transformation initiatives.
• Strong accountability, communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English required; flexibility to work regional or global shifts and travel internationally up to 10–20% is required.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another financial certification.
• US GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
