Legal Counsel

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements covering supply, purchasing, distribution, transport, logistics, and warehousing.
• Advise on cross-border sales of goods, international trade terms, title transfer, delivery risk, customs, sanctions, and product requirements.
• Support sourcing, purchasing, distribution, franchise, and intra-group arrangements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage legal risk in commercial disputes and coordinate the resolution of supply, quality, and delivery claims.
• Instruct and coordinate external counsel while managing scope, quality, and cost.
• Develop legal templates, playbooks, and ways of working that support efficient business operations.

Requirements

• Law degree and several years of post-qualification experience in-house or at a reputable law firm, focused on commercial, supply chain, or wholesale work.
• Several years of hirify.global experience in contracting and organisational structure.
• Strong knowledge of international sale of goods, maritime and road transport, commercial contracting, and cross-border trade.
• Experience with distribution agreements in franchise settings, logistics, and food-related activities.
• Experience advising global businesses across multiple legal systems and cultures, with strong drafting, negotiation, judgement, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required.
