Machine Learning Engineer: Ranking & Personalization

Location: Worldwide, fully remote

Salary: $6,600–$10,000 per month before taxes. The benefits section also lists a base salary of $80,000–$120,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Improve personalized experiences across products, business verticals, and platforms.
• Design, deliver, and maintain high-load real-time personalization services.
• Model user interactions and research personalization approaches for better shopper outcomes.
• Validate personalization hypotheses and improve business KPIs through experimentation.
• Develop and update personalization capabilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Communicate with stakeholders across and outside the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in applied machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data technologies for end-to-end ML product development.
• Experience building, shipping, and maintaining personalization, recommender, or ranking systems in production.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and independently solving complex problems.
