TL;DR
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Argentina) (Python/React/Google Cloud): Building scalable backend microservices, conversational interfaces, and frontend and mobile experiences for a high-volume remittance platform with an accent on chat-driven interactions, real-time messaging, and financial infrastructure. Focus on designing resilient distributed systems, integrating Google Cloud services, and improving chatbot experiences through customer feedback and analytics.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Currently fully remote, with a future transition to a hybrid setup.

What you will do
- Architect and implement high-performance, scalable backend microservices for the chat platform.
- Build and iterate on web, mobile, and conversational interfaces for remittance services across WhatsApp, web, and mobile applications.
- Design and manage infrastructure supporting millions of daily requests and real-time messaging.
- Develop backend services using industry standards and Google Cloud services.
- Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and business teams while mentoring junior developers.
- Use customer feedback and analytics to improve chatbot effectiveness and conversational experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience building, shipping, and iterating on software applications with real-world impact.
- Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, web services, SOAP, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, A/B testing, feature flags, and gradual rollouts.
- Experience or familiarity with Python, Flask or FastAPI, React, React Native, SQL, Redis, gRPC, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing chatbots, mobile applications, webpages, or conversational interfaces.
- Curiosity about or experience in fintech.
