Systems Engineer (Data Protection)

What you will do

• Present and demonstrate solutions in live and virtual customer meetings.
• Implement and manage proof-of-concepts through technical closure.
• Translate customer and partner business objectives into technical requirements.
• Provide technical consulting and pre-sales support for data protection solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to secure new customers and partners and with Product Management to provide customer feedback.
• Support events, webinars, user groups, and the resolution of complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written Japanese communication skills, including the ability to present to groups.
• Experience with data protection technologies and data life-cycle management in environments with IT audit requirements.
• Experience with storage, networking, cloud-based technologies, monitoring tools, virtualization, and software deployment in complex environments.
• Solution sales or technical pre-sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and adapt to changing responsibilities.
• Ability to travel 50–75% and serve as a point of reference for new hires and peers.

Nice to have

• Experience with telecommunications customers, carriers, service providers, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
