TL;DR
Finance Business Analyst (PropTech): Supporting Finance transformation initiatives by translating business needs into requirements and guiding solutions through analysis, testing, implementation, and transition to BAU with an accent on process improvement, controls, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on designing future-state processes, coordinating UAT, resolving system and process issues, and maintaining traceable governance across Finance, Technology, and external partners.
Location: Hybrid, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do
- Engage Finance stakeholders to analyse business objectives, pain points, process gaps, and desired outcomes.
- Document business and functional requirements through BRDs, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and supporting artefacts.
- Assess current-state Finance processes and support future-state design focused on simplification, standardisation, controls improvement, and automation.
- Support projects and enhancements through requirements definition, build, testing, go-live, and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Develop UAT scenarios and test cases, coordinate user testing, track defects, and validate fixes.
- Facilitate collaboration across Finance, Technology, project teams, vendors, and support teams while maintaining actions, risks, decisions, and delivery status.
Requirements
- Experience analysing Finance processes, systems, business needs, and functional requirements.
- Ability to create BRDs, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, UAT scenarios, and test cases.
- Ability to identify process gaps, dependencies, risks, data impacts, and operational considerations.
- Experience coordinating testing, defect resolution, implementation readiness, and transition to BAU.
- Clear and structured communication with Finance stakeholders, Technology teams, project managers, and external vendors.
- Ability to maintain accurate and auditable documentation in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
