hirify.global develops environmentally sustainable civil aircraft and provides engineering degree apprenticeships combining academic study, vocational training, and practical work on Commercial Aircraft Programmes.

What you will do

  • Complete a BEng (Hons) Aeronautical Engineering with Weston College and the University of the West of England.
  • Work on engineering placements across wing structures, landing gear, fuel and inerting systems, and flight physics.
  • Contribute to architecture and integration, aircraft design, simulation, static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
  • Support systems installation safety analysis, research and technology, certification, ground and flight testing, and in-service support.
  • Develop digital capabilities in coding, AI, machine learning, data analytics, optimization, methods, and tools.
  • Build project management, business, financial, and leadership skills through departmental rotations and engineering projects.

Requirements

  • 112 UCAS points or 3 A Levels at BBC or above, including Maths at grade B or above and Physics or Chemistry at grade C or above; or an eligible BTEC Extended Diploma at DMM/D; or an eligible T Level at Merit overall.
  • GCSE Maths and English Language and Literature at grade 5/B or above.
  • Submit a CV showing achieved or predicted grades and a cover letter explaining motivation and suitability.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, problem-solving ability, effective communication, and enthusiasm for aerospace and sustainable civil aircraft.
  • Must have current legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this apprenticeship. Successful candidates must also be eligible for levy funding and pass BPSS checks; UK SC clearance or export-control approval may be required depending on the role.
