What you will do
- Support daily facilities issues and planned preventative maintenance.
- Work with external service providers and evaluate supplier workmanship and technical proposals.
- Review infrastructure layouts and develop solutions that improve asset performance, reliability, standardisation, and efficiency.
- Identify sustainability and energy-management improvements, including total cost of ownership considerations.
- Develop infrastructure specifications and support minor works projects.
- Audit infrastructure systems and apply health and safety and legislative requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths, English Language, and Science.
- Science qualification must include at least grade C in Physics or CC in Double Award Science.
- Submit a CV with grades identified as predicted or achieved and a cover letter explaining motivation and suitability.
- Must have current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme.
- Must pass a BPSS check and may need UK SC-level security clearance or Export Control approval.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this apprenticeship.
