Focus on developing proposal materials, tracking solicitations, coordinating color team reviews, and managing logistics for customer and industry events.
Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; onsite role with travel of up to 25% as needed
Base salary: $115,000–$185,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Maintain the business development pipeline and CRM data, including opportunities, contacts, and review statuses.
- Monitor federal procurement portals such as SAM.gov and NASA Spires for solicitations, RFIs, Sources Sought notices, and industry days.
- Draft and edit capability statements, past performance summaries, product summaries, presentations, and other materials for US Government audiences.
- Support proposal lifecycle activities, including compliance matrices, data calls, section authoring, and color team review logistics.
- Coordinate capture strategy meetings, executive gate reviews, industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, or engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development support, technical sales, operations, administration, or government contracting.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent organization, time management, written communication, verbal communication, and attention to detail.
- US citizenship, US lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status is required.
- Ability to work onsite in San Francisco and travel up to 25% as needed.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with federal procurement processes, terminology, SAM.gov, or government acquisition.
- Experience with federal capture, proposal development, or Shipley Associates methodology.
- Interest in satellites and US civil or national security space missions.
- Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance or recent TS/SCI clearance experience.
