DataOps Engineer (ETL)

Location: Remote from Israel; availability until 12:00 PM PST is required.

Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together approximately 300 professionals across Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Support data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Maintain the infrastructure and tools used to develop and run ETL workflows.
• Monitor infrastructure and service performance and optimize system efficiency.
• Analyze technical problems and participate in their resolution.
• Collaborate with a US-based customer team through daily calls.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with a scripting or development language, such as Python, Perl, Java, C++, or C#, including the ability to create or edit small scripts.
• Experience with a task scheduler or orchestrator such as Rundeck, Airflow, or SQL Activity Monitor.
• Strong spoken English at Intermediate level or higher.
• Availability until 12:00 PM PST.

Nice to have

• Experience with Big Data technologies, Databricks, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
• Experience with MFT tools such as GoAnywhere.
