Experienced Backend Engineer (Cortex Agentix)

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel; most teams work from the office full time.

What you will do

• Develop, scale, and expand agentic capabilities within the Cortex platform.
• Translate emerging LLM technology into robust, production-ready platform features.
• Build core frameworks and automation infrastructure that support autonomous security workflows.
• Write efficient code addressing latency, context optimization, and determinism in production environments.
• Establish and maintain automation execution pipelines, software delivery workflows, and continuous quality governance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and security researchers on platform automation capabilities.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills and working knowledge of Go.
• Solid understanding of prompting techniques, context management, system design, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with codebase execution, end-to-end testing, automated release workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Bash scripting, containerized build environments, automated deployment scripting, REST APIs, and security workflows.
• Experience implementing telemetry, execution tracking, and observability tools for software services.
