Technical Release Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Own the release lifecycle for third-party integrations and out-of-the-box Cortex Content.
• Coordinate release execution, dependencies, and delivery batches across Cortex R&D and adjacent product engineering teams.
• Monitor post-release runtime logs, telemetry, crash thresholds, error rates, and quality trends.
• Serve as the technical interface for production bugs and field escalations, reproducing edge cases and analyzing APIs and integrations.
• Define release health metrics and dashboards, including MTTR, failure thresholds, and defect trends, using Jira and analytical tools.
• Design phased rollout strategies and return field learnings to pre-release development and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Release Management, Project Management, or Technical Program Management.
• Hands-on background as a Software Developer, QA Engineer, or Automation Engineer.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, REST APIs, and modern release pipelines.
• Ability to read code, query APIs, analyze application logs, troubleshoot complex software components, and resolve field issues.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking and release management.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to lead execution across matrixed engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, SecOps, or enterprise software ecosystems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools or developer pipelines.
