Location: Based in Bogotá, Colombia; travel to customer sites may be required up to 40% of the time for commissioning and startup.

What you will do
- Lead the automation scope of customer projects from pre-sales through design, commissioning, and startup.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, technical deliverables, and automation resources.
- Serve as the primary automation contact for customers, project teams, installers, suppliers, and external partners.
- Define and implement automation architectures involving PLCs, SCADA, MES, electrical systems, and control systems.
- Participate in design reviews, safety risk assessments, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Share knowledge, apply lessons learned, and promote automation best practices across projects.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, industrial automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, software development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Intermediate English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Experience implementing automation solutions in industrial or processing environments.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, including Rockwell and Siemens, and SCADA systems such as Rockwell, AVEVA, and Ignition, including programming and commissioning.
- Project management skills covering scope, costs, schedules, and technical deliverables.
- Working knowledge of MES, virtualization, industrial network integration, ISA-88, ISA-95, electrical systems up to 600 VAC, and pneumatic systems.
