TL;DR
Team Leader - Learning and OD (Client Solutions) (mental health and organizational development): Leading L&OD consultants and developing evidence-based learning interventions, OD initiatives, workshops, and scalable client toolkits with an accent on facilitation quality, clinical rigor, and client impact. Focus on coaching the team, designing complex interventions, monitoring quality and client metrics, enabling affiliate facilitators, and supporting retention and growth.
Location: Hybrid, South Africa; based at the Lyra Southern Africa head office. Standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional meetings outside local working hours and occasional travel to clients. Remote work requires reliable backup power and a strong, stable Wi-Fi connection.

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Learning and Organisational Development Consultants.
- Oversee the design and delivery of evidence-based L&OD interventions, including complex and sensitive client engagements.
- Monitor delivery metrics, client feedback, quality benchmarks, and audit processes.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Business Development on client outcomes, retention, growth, and expansion opportunities.
- Develop and improve L&OD products, workshops, intervention toolkits, and operational delivery workflows.
- Train and enable affiliate facilitators and practitioners while maintaining standardized delivery and quality standards.
Requirements
- One relevant qualification is required: Bachelor of Social Work, an Honours degree in Psychology or BPsych, a counselling psychology master's degree with an accredited internship, or a Bachelor of Social Science in Industrial and Organisational Psychology.
- Experience leading teams, providing coaching, conducting performance reviews, and assessing capability.
- Ability to facilitate complex, high-visibility, or sensitive group interventions using psychologically safe and evidence-based methods.
- Strong commercial, stakeholder management, analytical, quality assurance, and client service skills.
- Ability to work the stated South Africa-based hybrid schedule and attend occasional meetings outside standard local hours.

- Experience with EWP and stakeholder management.
- Experience understanding team dynamics and implementing team interventions.
- Content and product development experience.
- Strong report writing, presentation, communication, organizational, and facilitation skills.
