What you will do
- Co-design, implement, and evaluate training programs covering safety, technical skills, leadership, and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate e-learning, classroom, on-the-job, workshop, and simulation-based training for diverse mining audiences.
- Assess training effectiveness and employee performance using feedback and performance data.
- Maintain training records, participant progress data, and compliance reports.
- Ensure learning procedures and process flows remain current, quality controlled, and aligned with operational requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, external trainers, managers, supervisors, and regulatory stakeholders.
Requirements
- Recognised trade certificates as an Automotive Electrician and either a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- NQF5 OD ETDP Level 5 Higher Certificate and Grade 12.
- Assessor and Moderator Certificates.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a qualified artisan and facilitator.
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanic work, adult learning principles, instructional design, learning technologies, safety management, and mining regulations.
- Valid EB/Code 08 driver's licence; computer literacy and strong communication, leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
