Product Operations Intern (Rewards)

Location: Remote in Brazil

Salary: 2,800,000 COP monthly

What you will do

• Review receipt-scanning submissions against validation rules and make consistent approval or rejection decisions.
• Identify unusual receipt formats, retailer-specific issues, duplicates, and potential abuse, then document clear edge cases.
• Write actionable bug reports with reproducible examples and recommendations for improving extraction and validation logic.
• Prioritize product improvements by customer impact, fraud risk, and operational cost, and track fixes through the backlog.
• Confirm shipped improvements, identify regressions, and maintain review guidelines, decision criteria, and escalation paths.
• Find opportunities to automate, simplify, or remove workflow steps and help shape internal operations tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, logical approach to identifying patterns and defining rules or recommendations.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to create actionable bug reports and explain trends to non-technical audiences.
• Interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty programs, product operations, or products operating at scale.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
• High standards, initiative, calculated risk-taking, respectful candor, resilience, and a focus on delivering results.

Nice to have

• Experience through internships, projects, or extracurricular activities in operations, product, fintech, data analysis, trust and safety, or startups.
