Senior .NET Developer, Colombia

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs with versioning, security, and best-practice standards.
• Improve service reliability through unit and integration testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Integrate multiple systems and services using appropriate software design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and deployment-quality improvements.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Hands-on back-end development with C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server, including database design and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services, including API versioning.
• Proficiency in XML serialization and deserialization, software design patterns, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Advanced English proficiency required; all communication is in English.
• Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, adaptability, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
